Air temperatures remain reasonably constant throughout the year averaging around 29°C. Water temperatures range from 28 to 30°C. It is warm all year round, however the driest months are usually between late December and April. When rain does fall, it tends to be a sudden 10-15 minute shower.
You do not require a visa prior to arrival in the Maldives since all tourists are granted free 30 day visa upon arrival. However, you will need a valid passport and if the expiry date falls within 30 days of arrival, you cannot extend your stay beyond the passport expiry date. Important: before arrival or leaving Maldives you need obligatory to fill the following form on Maldives Immigration web site.
Dhivehi is the national language, but English is used widely in commerce and education. Also, many people working in the tourism industry are competent in Italian, French, Spanish, German and Japanese. The same range of languages can be found among the Maldives live-aboard diving cruises that we offer.
The national currency is Rufiyaa (MRF). Many tourism related business accept payments via credit card and in most hard cash currencies, particularly US dollars, and many tourists never even witness a Rufiyaa note during their stay.
America Express, Visa, Master Card, Diners Club, JCB and Euro Card are generally accepted.

If you must be online you can purchase a local sim card or a USB stick at the airport in Male or at our dive center . 5 G is available in all the Maldives .
You can always ask the crew or captain to take you to a local island for an island hopping. You can snorkel, read books, do fishing, relaxing and more.

Welcome! Are you planning a trip to Maldives? You’ll be pleased to know that there are several airlines that offer international tickets to Male airport Hulhule or Gan airport international, depending on your home country.
From either airport, you can take a short internal flight with Air Maldives to reach your final destination, the Maavaaralu airport.
To get to the beautiful islands of Gemanafushi or Kondey, we’ll arrange for your transfer by either a speedy speed boat or a traditional Maldivian Dhoni boat – both are a fantastic way to experience the beauty of Maldives! Let us know if you have any questions or need any assistance in planning your trip.
- Booking information: The booking will be accepted as soon as the full amount will be received. The full amount of the booking has to be done latest 7 weeks before arrival. Remember to pay all the full expenses of the bank transfer.
- Payment in U Dollars
- Cancellation: If the cancellation will be done 6 weeks latest before arrival, whole amount will be refounded. If the cancellation of booking will be done 5 weeks before arrival, 25% of the full amount will be charged. If the cancellation of booking will be done 4 weeks before arrival or later , there will be no refund.
